Marmalade

The Neighborhood

Tucked west of Capitol Hill, the Marmalade is one of Salt Lake City's oldest and most historic neighborhoods. The name comes from the early settlers who planted orchards here — which is why the streets are named for fruit trees like Almond, Apricot, and Quince.

Today it's an evolving pocket of the city, with new development, local businesses, and cultural spots arriving alongside the history. You're walking distance from downtown dining, shopping, and nightlife — and minutes from the mountains.

Salt Lake City sits cradled between the Wasatch and Oquirrh ranges, making it a launchpad for hiking, climbing, and biking in summer and world-class powder in winter. Four major resorts are within 45 minutes of the front door.
